It all started as I walked through the charming streets of the small town of Caltagirone, in my beloved Sicily. The store windows were adorned with beautiful Moorish heads, ceramic masterpieces that capture the eye and the heart. 

I would spend hours marveling at these works of art, marveling at how the hands of artisans could create such extraordinary pieces. As a Sicilian, I can say that you never get used to these work of art.

One day, fate decided to smile on me. While I was admiring a Moorhead, a particularly detailed work, a local artisan invited me to his workshop. It was a magical place, where each piece of clay came to life under his expert hands. He showed me the process of making and decorating, and each new detail I learned increased my passion for Sicilian ceramics.
